Analytical Solutions, Inc. (ASI) was founded in 1994 to provide quality, timely and cost-efficient analytical and bioanalytical services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in compliance with FDA GLP and GMP regulations when required. Dr. Kailas Thakker is the Founder and President of ASI. After obtaining her doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Kansas, Dr. Thakker worked for the US Pharmacopeia where she worked in the Drug Research and Testing Laboratory with emphasis on dissolution methods. Subsequently, Dr. Thakker held management positions as Research Director and Associate Director of Analytical Chemistry within pharmaceutical companies where she was primarily responsible for directing analytical activities in support of product development activities. In 1994 she founded ASI in Raleigh, NC. In 2003, ASI acquired Research Triangle Laboratories (RTL) and relocated its facility to Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC to accommodate expansion. RTL was an established analytical laboratory with 10 years of experience supporting the nutraceutical industry. With the acquisition of RTL, ASI now also offers high quality services to the nutraceutical industry for the analysis of many common nutraceutical product components. ASI is able to perform nutraceutical testing in compliance with FDA GMP regulations, if required. ASI welcomes scheduled audits from potential or current clients.
